An unexpected death has befallen Nura Mustapha Waye, the director of Kannywood.

It has been reported that Nura Mustapha Waye, the creator of the viral Kannywood film "Izzar So" on YouTube, has gone dead.
On Sunday, the director's staff informed everyone about the unexpected death the director had suffered.
It was said that the deceased individual, who had also directed a number of other movies and television episodes, felt great before going to bed on Saturday night.
When word spread of his passing, a great number of people were taken aback.
According to Nura's buddy Baba Sheik, Nura Mustapha Waye was in excellent health both yesterday and today up until a few hours before he passed away. Innalillahi wa inna'ilaihi Raju'un. Fans, the Kannywood community, and the whole of Nigeria's film industry are mourning your passing. We hope that the kind spirit you once had will finally be at rest.
A well-known actor by the name of Ali Nuhu posted the following message on his verified Facebook page: "May Allah have compassion on Nura Mustapha."
Lawan Ahmed, another actor, responded with the phrase "Innalillahi wainnilaihirrajiun." I pray that Allah may bless the life of Nura Mustapha, who is Director Izzar. I pray that Allah would pardon him for his transgressions. When our time comes, may Allah assist us in passing away with trust.

In response to Zarah Abdullahi's question, "Innalillahi wa'inna ilaihirraji'un Allah has granted the director of the movie Izzar," Zarah Abdullahi replied, "Director Nura Mustapha, who is deceased, may Allah have mercy on you and forgive you."
Since then, Nura has been laid to rest in accordance with the practices of Islam.
He had a wife and children that he had to abandon.
