Knocks trail religious leaders who are praying at Bobrisky's housewarming

A video that went viral on social media showed Muslim clerics praying at the housewarming party of Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, a controversial cross-dresser.

In the video from the event on Sunday, Bobrisky was seated and fully dressed in traditional female Yoruba clothing. Muslim clerics sat on the floor around her and said Islamic prayers.

People on Twitter have criticized the fact that religious leaders were at the cross-event dresser's because of the video.

@ola bode20 asked on Twitter, "How will those Alfas talk to Bobrisky? Hajia Idris or Alhaji wa Idris? Because they'll have to name a person."

"Priests prayed for Bobrisky at the housewarming. "In this country, all you have to do is make money, and all your problems will be solved on their own," @leymiispito said.

Another Twitter user, @tee classiquem1, said, "Religious leaders are giving up God's words for money. How can Alfas and Chief Imam, who are looked up to by the whole community, go to Bobrisky's house warming party? Isn't this like saying it's okay for Muslims to cross-dress? It's so humiliating to see."

"Bobrisky's friends gathered around her and prayed for her. They don't know he's a boy who became a girl, do they? There are double standards everywhere," @unclefemi_ fumed.

@okinbakare tweeted, "All this useless Alfa makes them see good ones end, hunger doesn't make them tell the truth. Can they ask if Bobrisky is a she or a he so they know how to talk to or pray for her/him?

Laide Bakare, Ashmusy, Mercy Eke, and a whole bunch of other celebrities and influential people were at the housewarming party for Bobrisky's N400 million mansion.
